US Decontrol

Whether you are into street punk or not, US Decontrol is a band whose talent cannot be denied. Despite going through a slight change in lineup and a name change (due to another band holding the same name), US Decontrol cannot be stopped. Their first full length CD, "Chaos, Mayhem, and Destruction...This is Only The Beginning", is filled with strong guitar solos brought to you by Josh Control. The CD is filled with strong lyrics about how the music scene is falling apart and their views on current situations around the world. US Decontrol gives you a history lesson about their hometown, the lyrics mostly written by MC, who also plays rhythm guitar. Their bassist, Kris, blazes through the songs with while doing 75% of the backup vocals with ease and grace; meanwhile, at shows, he is maintaining an eye-catching stage presence while keeping his playing as agile as he does on the CD. In the midst of all this chaos, we mustn't forget about the drummer, Matt, who pounds away with straight-forward, fast beats to keep the mayhem in good timing.
US Decontrol has been an opening act for some of the East Coast's finest bands, including The Unseen, The Boils, River City Rebels, Violent Society, Kill Your Idols, Vision, A Global Threat, and Antidote.
